Issue: With certain scanners, there is a maximum onboard scanner memory limitation when scanning continuously. If that limit is reached before this value limit, some issues can occur.
Analysis: In the case of a physical scanner reaching it’s internal buffer limit and not properly transferring and flushing its buffers to Ephesoft, setting the Pages Cache Clear Count to a smaller number than default(600) may resolve.
The default value for this is 600. We recommend leaving the setting default. When the value gets to 600 pages, the system will flush the scanner cache manually.
