Issue: In a clustered environment, only one server starts ephesoft successfully. Other servers in environment report license issue. Log files on non working servers may report IP ADDRESS of working server.
Analysis:
Clustered licensing changed for Ephesoft 4 by introducing pooled licensing. Only one license that will be installed on one server is necessary for clustered environments. The license file must be generated with number of cores equal to the cumalative sum of all logical cores in cluster. (example: Server 1 has 8 cores, server 2 has 16 cores; the license file that needs to be generated has to be for 24 cores.)
Only one details.properties file needs to be submitted for the server chosen as a license server. The license will only work when installed in the license server.
